How do I setup a domain in plesk if I have an external mail server for this site?

  1. Setup as usual but then go into the domain management screen and click “Mail”, next click the button marked “Disable”.
  2. Next go back into the domain management screen again and click “DNS”. In this screen, again click on the “Disable” button in order to stop Plesk records from being seen.
  3. As a matter of precaution I would then select the name server check box (ns.domain.com – this is available after disabling DNS) and then remove all records all-altogether.
