Outlook Inbox browsing fails with the following error message:
Cannot display the folder. Errors have been detected in the file C:xxxxoutlook.pst. Quit Outlook and all email-enabled applications, and then use Inbox Repair Tool (scanpst.exe) to diagnose and repair errors in the file.
Scan using the application specified:
scanpst.exe
