I have just changed my Mac POP3 Account settings and now my email will not work.

This is because there is a bug in the Mac Mail client.

Instead of modifying the account, you need to delete it and then create a brand new email account from scratch.

Once you have done this the problem will likely be resolved.

(Be sure to select the option to use authentication on your outgoing email)
