Windows Server 2012 automatically reboot or fails with a blue screen on vsphere 4.0#

To work around, make the following change

* Power Down Virtual Machine
* Right on the VM and go to 'Edit Settings'
* Click on the 'Options' tab
* Select 'CPUID Mask' under Advanced
* Under the Register column, locate the edx register under Lebel 80000001.
* Paste the following into the Value field

----:0---:----:----:----:----:----:----

Click OK.

Back to [Windows]
