How To Set Up Cold Fusion On Website#

Set up the website via Plesk in the normal way then follow these instructions:

  • TS to relevant server
  • Click "CF Web Server Configuration Tool" from quick launch (green circular icon)
  • Click "Add"
  • Select relevant “IIS Web Site” from drop down
  • Leave other options as default
  • Click "OK"
  • Do NOT re-start IIS
  • Close/Exit


  • Launch IIS
  • Right click relevant domain and choose "New", then "Virtual Directory" to start wizard
    • Click "Next"
    • Alias = CFIDE
    • Path = "C:\Inetpub\wwwroot\CFIDE"
    • Check "Read", "Run" and "Execute"
    • Click "Next"
    • Click "Finish" to finish the wizard
  • Right-click on "CFIDE" directory within IIS and choose "Properties"
  • From the "Virtual Directory" tab click "Application settings"
  • Click "Remove"
  • Click "OK"
  • Right-click "test" directory within IIS and choose "Properties"
  • Click "Directory Security" tab
  • Under "Authentication and Access Control", click "Edit"
  • Check "Enable anonymous access"
  • Click "OK"
  • Click "OK"


Test the success of the setup by surfing to test URL: http://pleskxx.hyve.com/$sitepreview/domainname.xxx/test/coldfusion/test_info.cfm

Add new attachment

Only authorized users are allowed to upload new attachments.
