Email bounces to Linux Plesk based email account with 5.4.6 failure notice

Symptoms:

You get a bounce message as follows or similar errors present in the mail log:

Hi. This is the qmail-send program at 
I'm afraid I wasn't able to deliver your message to the following addresses.
This is a permanent error; I've given up. Sorry it didn't work out.

: Sorry. Although I'm listed as a best-preference MX or A for that host, it isn't in my control/locals file, so I don't treat it as a local file. (#5.4.6)

Resolution:

Assuming this domain does really exist in Plesk and Mail is enabled for this domain, try rebuilding the Qmail configuration files as follows:

/usr/local/psa/admin/sbin/mchk --without-spam
